POC'15 // 2th-3rd May
After a month or so of planning, it's finally over. Definitely it isn't always so smooth-sailing in life but they r the experiences and lessons that I've learnt throughout the process.
Before the day of camp, I remembered we were busy learning and practicing our dance for gala night till late night. It was really kinda last minute as we had so many things to do for the past weeks and furthermore, school started so our timetable kinda clashed.
The fact that we took only 1 day to learn and practice, and even took some spare time out to practice when the campers were eating, having their group/family time, our dance was considered good except for our synchronization.
So this marked the start of POC!! I was so nervous when we gathered at the meeting area but honestly after we reached the campsite, I was feeling alright!! Going around the games stations to inspect before it officially starts, and I have never felt so relieved than before when it was my turn to talk.
^so glad you 2 joined us!! :-)
Touched to hear that they joined the camp because we were the one planning it, much thanks for the support manz *bro fist* this dengjun damn qt, there was this game where the campers would be blindfolded and had to follow the voices' of the GLs to walk to the end so he happily ran towards a tree when weipang clearly said to the left HAHA and for the other game they had to keep the tissue on air so he almost kissed a girl and I was so shocked when I saw that. What a coincidence when I knew weipang was his GL cause he used to be mine during last year poc
^us in the bunk practicing our dance for gala night hahahaha I swear I had so much fun with them
^gala night deco HAHA
Overall first day of camp went well and we had debrief until late night. Which we then, had to stay up after that to do the logistics because of some hiccups along the way. I was pissed too when some of the GLs started bombarding us with questions about our games for the next day which we then had to modify and changed it, in the midnight. Was fumed because the game instructions were sent out few days before the camp and yet nobody (correct me if I'm wrong) actually bothers to read beforehand. They were clearly given so much time to ask but they didn't, they just have to wait till the last minute. Worse thing was that the ones who asked the questions were seniors.... I'm just so speechless
It was raining heavily that night that I was shivering all the way when we sat at the canteen doing our work. Had a good sleep because there were air con in our bunk (yay!!) , comfy bed which I shared with lapsuptwin and even laid the sleeping bed on it and of course, we were all dead tired by the end of the day. Day 2 was bad :( heard from bryan and yunting that we got shoot by some of the GLs (idk who cause I was too focused in doing my work) and I just broke down upon hearing that cause I felt so aggrieved. They don't know how much time and effort we spent on planning, and how hard it was for us to deal with all the last minute changes :( then during programme 3, I broke down again because we had a miscommunication. I was mad at myself for not being able to run the program smoothly as a programmer. Everything was so chaotic that I didn't even have time to process. The logistics weren't even set up when the game started. And I panicked of course. But thankful for fabian and rebecca for staying to help cause they could have just left (it's a bingo game and they r racing against time so ya) thank you T__T so ya, basically those were the things that went wrong for program side but glad to hear some good feedbacks like the games were fun etc
^yesss break camp!

Mission surprise for Fangling // 17th May
Finally met up after don't know how long!! She has been asking me out since the day before I left to taiwan and ya look at how long it has been man. Brought her to eat kbbq and I lied to her that I needed to go to the toilet but in actual fact, I left to find my special guest, cailing, to help her carry the stuffs so that she could hold the cake and balloon and surprise her!!!
So I made fangling sat with her back facing the entrance and we quietly walked behind her and sang birthday song!
Really love the surprised and unexpected look on her face so surprise success!!
^the last time we 3 went out was...... can't remember
Cailing had to leave for her tuition so we went ktv after that GOOD 3 hours in our all time favorite :p
