Rio Camp x Outings

Been really lazy to blog these days cause I find it a hassle to transfer those photos in my phone to my laptop. :( Gotta kick this bad habit away man. I foresee it'll be a long post filled with pictures so hahaha, up to you if you wanna carry on reading ;)

Thursday, 25/9
Start of Rio Camp for the participants of NYAA.
Dragged my feet all the way to school cause that was the first time my bagpack felt so heavy and I had to carry another bag to put in the 1.5L water sigh.
Had to travel all the way to Changi Village all by ourselves and before that, we had to go to the supermarket to buy all the ingredients that we were be cooking for that day and the next day.

^I swear I almost died while walking to the house that we were be staying at

 ^playing some ice breaker games

^and yup, I don't have to do anything, just let the guys cooked :p

^traffic light game which required no communication at all

Came greeted by many dogs that I literally lost control till I started screaming and finding ways to avoid them. Who knows there are 2 dogs and 1 lil kitten in Ah Kok's house. For the whole demonstration of building the tent, my eyes was too focused on the kitten that weisheng was like saying I kept looking at the kitten instead of listening. :p Slept in the tent which was so humid even though it rained in the middle of the night and I woke up with sweats and mosquito bites all over my legs.

Friday, 26/9
What I had been waiting for - cycling!!!

^supposed to form a heart shape as 1 of our missions

We cycled from 8:30am to about 4pm with lil breaks in between. That was really the most tiring day ever. And it was my first time cycling for such a long hours. Cycled till my butt hurts but it was a great experience cycling at ubin because I really love it when the cool wind brushed against my face, especially on such a hot day, when cycling down the slope. But of course when it comes it up slope, I was still able to cycle up until the last few hours when I was really drained, I had to come down my bike and push it up.

^lil trekking up the slope T_T

 ^"omg I made it!!!"
Really gotta thank the guys for always keeping a lookout for me and even came to offer help to me when the gear on my bike went loose. In the evening, non-nyaa members came!!! Added so much fun to my night and the next 2 days weehee

Saturday, 27/9
Trekking is the main highlight of the day.

^look at my annoyed face HAHA

^1 of the objectives of the day was to take a picture with 9 huts.

^and we have to walk up that super long and tiring slope again T__T

 ^battery = 10%

^see I cmi liao

 ^back to prepare our dinner

^when there's no knife, you use a spoon

^after dinner, we played alot of ice breakers and it was really a fun night!!

 ^more gameeeeessss

Sunday, 28/9
Last day of Rio Camp oh my how much I miss home, especially my toilet.
Big thank you to bobby for helping me to carry my bag for the whole day!!

^yay go home lo!

But nope sadly, we had to go back to school to wash and dry the tents. Had a good sleep on the bus back to bishan cause I sat on the window seat alone and had my sleeping bag to hug it was so comfy guess I was too exhausted.

Wednesday, 1/10
Finally met up with squarebell after what seems like eternity.
Didn't really have a proper plan other than going to a cafe for lunch.
So we started exploring around the neighborhood and took photos with whatever background, props etc that we found are cool.

^back to Hatched again, this time round it doesn't serves the potatoes that I once ate :(((

^yay thanks for the gift I'm going back with the trolley

^pardon my fat thighs but I really love the candid shots taken by her!

^we decided to have some desserts cause the weather was seriously hot on that day

After eating, we had no idea where to go so impromptu trip to Botanic Garden!!! Really love times like this, just sitting inside the cafe, enjoying the food and company, going around taking nonsensical pictures

Love this girl so much! So thankful for everything, life's good with her around! Thanks for all the nonsense, jokes, fun, joy & laughter :*

Friday, 3/10
Met hweesi after such a long time of not meeting up. Ok not really long actually.
Was so stoked for the day cause we made plans to watch 'Cafe Waiting Love'
Highly recommended to watch ok!!!! *inserts million thumbs up*

It was kind of a disappointment because the day when we went, was the day where there wasn't much choices to choose. So we tried Pistachio and Lemon Sherbet. Lemon Sherbet was really bad, it taste super sour, doesn't taste like the kind that I usually eat.

每个人 都在等一个人 等待一个 能看见你与众不同的 那一个人

"Café. Waiting. Love may seem like a simple film about a schoolyard romance, but its complex layers and plot twist proves otherwise. With its elements of comedy and romance, Café. Waiting. Love is a roller coaster ride of laughter and tears that does not disappoint despite its mix of seemingly inane and incompatible characters and incidents. It is an exploration of the act of waiting for love, and it can be said that everyone in the film was waiting for someone else. True to its name, Café. Waiting. Love is a film that is definitely worth watching, and waiting for."

I really love the male lead's character in the show, like really the kind of guy every girl would go for. Or maybe it is just me. He is the happy-go-lucky type of guy on the exterior but deep down, is very sentimental. His affection for the female lead, and is convincingly innocent. It indeed brought me or rather the theatre, a lot of laughter, but at the same time, brought me to tears. I know hweesi was constantly stealing glance at me. Ever since the movie, I've been addicted to the theme song that I keep listening and listening.

"每個人心裏都有一個 保留著的空位"  - So true that I couldn't agree any further.

After that, Ben, Alvin, Amanda, JJ & Weipang came over to find me and had dinner together. Thanks hweesi so much for willing to accompany me hehe :D

Tuesday, 7/10
Another cafe hopping hopping with le bff.

^back to Seoul Yummy for the Army Stew yum yum

Yesterday, 8/10
Crashed the bff's crib and while otw to her house, I saw that there were funeral going on and I have no idea why tears welled up in my eyes ha ha maybe because I recalled the day where my grandma left us.
It's been 4 years, oh how time flies. I still think of her from time to time. So hard to let it go. Can't imagine what if one day my parents were to leave me :'(
Thank god I managed to control my tears from falling until I got off the bus if not that would be very embarrassing. But the worst thing was that I was listening to a ballad song and it caused me to cry even more harder. I sat under her blk until I felt more calm before heading up.

So I watched her packed her luggage > watched some supernatural videos > went downstairs to play badminton > dinner at her house > spent the last moment before she fly off at mc cafe

School is reopening soon and I really dread the days ahead man. Aww no more nua-ing at home and taking afternoon naps :"( kinda love life like this, so relaxing hahaha but well, got to go back to reality and most importantly, get back on track and study hard!!! I hope this time round I'll not go back on my words, need to have some self-discipline.
