CNY + Happenings over the week

My heart skipped a beat when I saw your friend request on fb. It's been long, really long since we last met and talk to each other. I won't deny that I was really happy when I saw that because I thought you would've forgotten about me, about us. Bits and pieces of our memories came flashing back at that instant, how we first met each other, how that glance and smile of yours brighten up my day when you turned behind to look at me. The days were short but just being able to spend time together in school is good enough. What's left now is just memories of us and though it was very bitter in the beginning, I don't regret my decision. Instead, I'm glad we walked through it together and most importantly, is that we're both living our own life happily now :)

Friday, 31/1

Day 1 of CNY: I guess it's always the same old cycle every year. Grandparents' house > Paternal's relatives place.

 ^Matching outfit calls for a family photo. In case it's not clear, my parents wore white whereas my brother and I wore red.

We realised that this year, many of us wore red and checkered so we were pretty surprised by it. It was really a coincidence that almost everyone of us wore something similar.

Basically he was our entertainment for the whole day and I must say all of us were pretty what somehow attracted to him hahaha! He's too adorable that I've no idea how to even put it in words. This boy is sure to grow up to be a heartbreaker :p Something that made us laughed non-stop was that he loves to eat bak kwa but then he can't too eat much so we kept using that to 'threaten' him like, sitting still for 5 mins because he was too hyper and he really sat still, with his eyes glued to the bak kwa and my cousin even asked him to go home with her in exchange of 2 bak kwas HAHAHA and because we asked him which girl does he wants, he pointed to my cousin (the one above who took pic together with me and him) and her sister said that cause she was a walking bak kwa that's why she got chosen, and the lil boy nodded his head hehe so cute!! I swear it would be funnier if you guys were there to see it for yourself :'D sad thing was that it was a chore trying to take a nice and clear photo with him :( just look at how fidgety he was in the pictures above.

Sunday, 2/2

Headed out with my parents to Marina Platform for this on a sunny Sunday afternoon. It was scorching hot and stuffy that all I wished for was to be in a air-conditional place. 

Nonetheless, it was an eye-opener for me cause that was my first time and well, I think it would be better if we go in the evening instead. It'll be much cooling and prettier.

Have always wanted to try it whenever I see them on the tv and when I thought I finally got the chance to try, it's then when I regretted buying. It doesn't taste as nice as I thought :( Then we went to watch the ah huat movie! Would rate it a 5.5/10 cause it wasn't that nice, but still a lil funny, esp the Indian-Chinese boy hehe he's cute! 

Monday, 3/2

Ikea with the bff after school. So glad that I finally satisfied my craving! We were so famished that we just kept on taking and taking and tadaaaa, look at the amount of food that we ate. #fat #itsok #itsworthit

Afterwhich, we went around looking at the furnitures, cutleries etc and we both were like planning on what to get for our future house that we are gonna live in together in the future. And when we talked about this, I was really serious. I can't wait to live in a house together with my best friend, and we are gonna work hard together for it. Then we would have our own disco room (sounds a bit ridiculous I know) and maybe a room for yoga hahaha. Spotted a very nice place to camwhore after that, as usual hehe.

^so surprised that we actually wore NB on the same day even without planning!!! 

Wednesday, 5/4

Had filming on our role-play and this time it turned out better than the previous one. 

Always good to try something new. Wearing pinafore and acting like a nerd with my weird hairstyle 

So sad that my sleeves and pinafore is the longest among all T.T

Saturday, 8/2

2 Degree Ice Art Exhibition with da Lims' family (L)

YAY YAY. 

It was really cold despite wearing knit wear and jeans. I could even see smoke coming out from my mouth while talking and stupid iPhone censor is so lousy that I've to take out my gloves when taking photos.

^love this Ice Slide the most! It was so slow at the front but getting faster and faster at the end which caused me to fly out and landed hard on the ground. Took video of me sliding but accidentally deleted cause my mum took way too many useless vids and I deleted all until I was confused. :(

Sunday, 9/2
Steamboat at the bff's house, my morning started well cause Hweesi and I talked a lot about RM and CNBLUE which got me so excited and hyped up HAHA so our dress code of the day was Red and almost everyone we saw was judging us when we walked together as a group. Don't know if I should feel embarrassed or unite sia. That was the first time le princess entered the kitchen to help and prepared the food *pats shoulder* :D
And you can say I'm more a hindrance than help, not to forget Jueyun too cause we kept dropping food on the floor oops :p

^LET'S GET STARTED HEHE I swear the soup is super tasty!! 

FYI: There were more food than this but since we did not have enough plates and space to put so we just left the rest at the kitchen.

Pardon my messy hair hehehe so we watched a lil bit of 'Brown Sugar Macchiato' after eating and we all went a bit crazy la cause that was a very top-rated idol drama when we were sec1/2. As usual we were fangirling over the guys until some of them cannot stand our noisiness hehe. Then we gambled a while, joined force with Jueyun again like how we did last year and no doubt, we really won some money! Not bad okay cause we were the only one who betted 50cents hahaha

Good day at Angela's house because I really had fun with all these people :) Not to forget, thanks Angela for inviting us over :) :) looking forward to more steamboat sessions with them!
